PROCEDURE OF
ADMISSION ALONG WITH STARTING & ENDING RANK OF LAST YEAR:
Admission to the
four year degree course leading to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) is
through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted each year in
May/June by Government of Orissa for admission to the Engineering
Colleges of Orissa. The minimum eligibility for appearing in JEE is a
pass degreee in +2 science.. Reservation for SC/ST, handicapped, Women,
Military, Green Card and outside State Quota is available. Fifteen
percent of the total intake is reserved for NRI/In-lieu of NRI quota.

The

requirements and procedures for admissions are as per the guidelines in
the Information Brochure for Joint Entrance Examination. Students with
Diploma can be admitted into the 3rd semester directly in all branches
as per JEE Lateral Entry rules.
