Congratulations.This academic endeavour would go a long way in fulfilling the dire necessity of ladies of western orissa.Although I am a Computer Scientist and a Mathematician, I must say that the engineers must have a proper understanding of social structure, the emerging problems in the context of development and their management.May be you can think of a Centre for Science, Society and Management as they have in some of the IITs and Technical Institutes abroad.Avoid pure political science,philosophy and psychology.The broad arena might be: Indian Social Structure,Techno-economic Development and social change, Science-society-industry interaction,Organisational Behaviour and Development Management.Science must tell us what to do and how to live.Wishing VCEW great success.
